1. Overview

Pock is a personal finance tracker for iPhone and iPad, made by Aldy. Pock does not create a user account, does not offer Sign in with Apple, and does not operate a Pock server.

Your money records stay on the device. If you turn on iCloud Backup, a copy goes into your Apple ID iCloud, not a Pock database.

2. Data stored on the device

Pock stores the following locally so it can show balances, insights, and reminders:

  • Transactions, budgets, goals, trips, and assets or debts
  • Notification settings
  • The name and age you enter during onboarding

3. iCloud Backup

The iCloud Backup toggle is on by default if iCloud is available. The container is iCloud.com.pock. That copy uses your Apple ID. Pock cannot read another person’s backup.

Demo mode does not push to iCloud. The app lock PIN is not included in iCloud Backup. Face ID never leaves the device.

4. Camera, photos, and scans

Pock reads receipts and statements on this iPhone. Sources are the document camera, the Photos picker, or a file. You review drafts before anything is saved.

Text extraction runs on-device. If Apple Intelligence is available, merchant or category help also runs on-device. Nothing is uploaded.

5. Siri, widgets, and shortcuts

Siri, widgets, Control Center, and App Shortcuts use the same local data. They do not send it to Pock.

6. Purchases

Pock Plus is billed by Apple to your Apple ID. Pock only learns whether this Apple ID is subscribed. Family sharing is off. Version 1.0 has no introductory offer.

7. Sharing

You pick the destination: Instagram Stories, WhatsApp, or the system share sheet. Pock does not post on your behalf.

8. What is not collected

  • No analytics SDKs, advertising, tracking pixels, or IDFA
  • No account, email, or login
  • No bank, e-wallet, or card sync
  • Notifications are local on this iPhone, not push from a Pock server

9. Age

Pock is for people 13 and older. Made for Kids: No. Onboarding asks for a name and an age between 13 and 99.

10. Export, import, and reset

You can export CSV, import CSV (merge or replace), or reset all data. Reset also updates the iCloud copy if backup is on. If local data is unreadable, Pock offers restore from iCloud or start over.

11. Contact

Pock has no account we can open. For subscriptions, manage them in iOS Settings. For other questions, email aldy.iputu222@gmail.com or WhatsApp 0897-1225-858. The support page on this site uses the same contact details.
